About Us

Awareness through education.

Our mission

We live in a time of upheaval, marked by major cultural, social and ecological challenges. However, the complicated global conditions we are facing today have not simply fallen from the sky, but are the result of human activity over the past centuries. Shaping the future means starting in the here and now, taking responsibility, asking the right questions and testing new ways of dealing with nature and mankind. In order to do this, we need places in which people can come together to think freely and work together interactively and interdisciplinarily. In this sense, ibugi offers a space for its staff and individual and institutional cooperation partners to ask these crucial and forward-looking questions in a new way and to jointly develop meaningful approaches in the fields of education and social innovation.

What we do

At ibugi we explore, teach and live innovation in education and society. Our staff members develop their projects in teaching and research individually and collaboratively with a high degree of personal responsibility and self-monitoring, and organise corresponding formats and events. ibugi also incorporates practical social projects, such as CeSEB, which has been established in cooperation with the degree program of Philosophy, Arts and Social Entrepreneurship at Alanus University. We set great store by individual visions and ideas, as well as effective and constructive cooperation. We organise and conduct lectures and research projects, develop further education courses, conferences and forums and advise educational institutions.
Our institute is located at the house Eutopia in the heart of Bonn.
